Diane Anderson, RYT since 1997
The exact dates of the September 2011 training are still in progress. The weekend workshop hours are:
Friday: 6:15-9:15pm
Saturday: 1:45-5:45pm|
Sunday: 1:15-4:15pm
We have just recently shortened the Saturday hours to make the whole weekend training less intense yet and more beneficial. We added 1 additional Friday evening per month ( 7-9pm) for a book reading and basic review of the training to date.

On these additional Friday evenings, the group gathers at local cafe’s or homes to discuss and review the required reading and assignments. Study groups are encouraged and recommended. The current participants have found this option of an extra Friday evening to be exceptionally beneficial by easing up the previously long Saturday Intensive, and also it breaks up the 4 weeks between the group gatherings.

Diane Anderson, director, lead instructor and organizer of the Teacher Training, is committed to regular program evaluation and the assessment of student needs and their progression. With intense care and professionalism, the progress will only allow the most necessary and beneficial changes to take place in the current program.

The goal of our Teacher Training is to offer the most outstanding, richly educational, self esteem building, and yes: the most enjoyable Yoga Teacher Training Program AVAILABLE!

Our 200 hr RYT Training Program

Do you love yoga?  Have you ever considered teaching it? Or, just immersing yourself into the study and practice of this amazing healing art? Well, now is your chance.

Yoga instruction is one of the most satisfying and rewarding careers in this world today. When you become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), your opportunities to serve the planet are endless. Teaching yoga in addition to your current job — perhaps offering yoga at your workplace! — can provide you with the renewed vigor needed to find contentment at your occupation, or even open you to new opportunities.

Even if you never lead a class, your experience in Diane’s RYT training will change your life forever. Committing to the physical and meditation practices will make you stronger and more flexible, both in body and mind. You will learn how to share your most unique gifts, as well as bring out the best in your students. This ancient art is filled with knowledge that is vital to finding peace and healing in our modern world.

Whether you want to recommit to your own practice or are contemplating a complete career change, you’you will find this RYT training program both grounding and stimulating — the very meaning of Hatha Yoga, the “union of opposites.”

About Diane
Diane’s interdisciplinary or “eclectic” teaching method is based in nearly 25 years of studying and practicing many different of styles of yoga and meditation. These include Iyengar, Ashtanga, Jivamucti, Anusara, Kripalu, Chakra, Kundalini, Raja and Birkram. Diane draws upon the finest aspects of each style, and blends them together with compassion and non-intimidating spirituality.  She will teach you how to take the best and develop your own personal style of yoga instruction.

Program Details
This RYT training program is designed for those who have had some introductory experience in yoga. You will gain a solid foundation in the fundamental principles, while also learning how to professionally teach it to others. The course carefully covers everything you will need to know to start teaching three popular styles of yoga today: Basic/Beginner Hatha, Basic/Beginner Vinyasa Flow, and Gentle/Restorative Healing Yoga. Because of this programs unique design, Diane's experience in self-care, and the schedule of this training, this course is also considered to be a wellness program.

Mindful of our busy lifestyles, this program is non-exhausting and scheduled over 15 weekend workshops. Each session includes an asana practice to build the trainees’ practice and, more important, to help facilitate the concentration and awareness necessary for later discussions and teaching modules. Several guest instructors will teach their specialty styles of yoga, such as Anusara, Iyengar and others. Workshops include time for personal study, lecture, group discussion, writing, homework, asana practice and more.
