Kids Yoga Classes
Starting January 27th
Saturday 3:00pm-4:00pm
Instructor: Liziah Woodruff
Cost: 4 classes $40

These fun and engaging classes explore yoga with a playful attitude. These classes will incorporate yoga poses, body-awareness, breathing and even an attempt at relaxation. (yes, you heard right!) The students will not only learn yoga, but practice concentration, develop their flexibility and strength, as well as increase self confidence; all of this enveloped in a non-competitive and fun environment!

Kids &Teens 12 and Up
Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm
Starting January 18th

More mature kids and teens have an opportunity to develop their body and mind strength in these classes. Yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation are all included. These classes include some peer activities and group discussions, creating a supportive environment which builds self-confidence, positive body awareness, and some tools that can help with stress management.

About the Instructor:
Liziah Woodruff completed her yoga teacher training in 2005 and is a certified yoga teacher. Since graduating, Liziah has had the wonderful opportunity to share the art of yoga with both kids and adults. One of Liziah's favorite places to teach is at Children's Hospital where she works with kids that have eating disorders. Liziah has a BFA in acting and performing arts from Cornish College of the Arts. Liziah teaches yoga with the intention to bring joy and inspiration into people's lives.

Yoga camp mixes games, story telling with the physical postures of yoga.  It's a great way for young people to develop strength, flexibility, and body awareness in a non competitive environment.   This camp will be fun and engaging for the body and mind as we use both in imaginative and creative ways.  We will learn some basic, fun,  anatomy and enjoy movement with more understanding.  We will venture into quieter places with visualization and calming postures as  well.  Come Join us!
